Walsall CCG Medicines Management Team, Practice Based Pharmacists and other NHS Pharmacy teams will be supporting GP practices to conduct medication reviews, clinical audits, medicine safety and medicines optimisation initiatives for patient care. In addition to GP consultations the Practice offers a wide range of clinics and healthcare services:
Rushall Medical Centre can now provide online access to patient records system. The system will allow you to:
1. Book Appointments
2. Order Repeat Prescriptions
3. Check test results
4. View your medical records*
5. Message the surgery
Creating an online account is easy and a good way for you to manage your health in your own time. It means that the Reception team can answer your queries quicker, and you can get help when you need it most from the comfort of your home. Access is available 24/7 once you have signed up.
In order to be set up for online access, please download and fill out the below form in full, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org along with two forms of ID (proof of address and photo ID). We can also set you up on an restricted Online Access account over the phone, all we will need is for you to answer some security questions. Please note: You will only be able to order repeat medications this way, if you require access to your medical records, or any other features of a full Online Access account, you will need to fill out the form.

If you are setting up Online Access on behalf of someone else (i.e. a child, elderly relative), you may need to use the 'Proxy Form'. This form is for patients who do not have their own email address, so can link their account up to a relatives using their email address.

DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ABLE TO OFFER BOOKABLE APPOINTMENTS ONLINE. IF YOU NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT PLEASE USE THE ONLINE ECONSULT SYSTEM.
You can also now download the NHS app on your smartphone. This app can do many of the things Online Access can do, like book appointments through an integrated eConsult, and order repeat prescriptions, but it will not have access to your past medical records. If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the Practice Nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the Practice Nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
